just running

I have migrated over here to start fresh with a record of my runs, my thoughts about and while running, and any other associated running things. I want to document the ups and downs as I prepare for my first 50k, my first 50 miler and my second marathon. All within the next three months.

So this might be ridiculously boring, but I've decided that I want a record of my running for myself, first and foremost. And being able to turn this blog into a photo book would be pretty cool down the line.

Right now I have three races on my radar:
  • Green Lakes Endurance Run 50k in Syracuse NY on August 24. 
  • Hancock Shaker Village 50 miler in Pittsfield MA on September 21. 
  • Mohawk Hudson River Marathon in Albany NY on October 13. 
It's going to be a wild couple of months. I have a lot of thoughts about training, fueling and nutrition, and the races themselves. I only just committed to the 50k and the 50 miler, and am only freaking out a little bit. Which I suppose comes with the territory.

Following your new blog! You are pretty much a hero in my book. You set goals most people would never dream of accomplishing and then really follow through; not easy with a little one! Keep on running!
